In the middle of the night 9 week old Harper Brousseau
stopped breathing for unknown reasons. The dog, Duke woke up the parents by
jumping on their bed and barking at them. They were confused by his random
outburst and why he was shaken and so scared. The Brousseaus checked on their
daughter and realized she wasn’t breathing and called the ambulance. They arrived
just in time and their daughter was saved. If it was not for Duke waking them
up they would have slept through the night and Harper would have died. The Brousseaus
are more than grateful that they had adopted Duke 6 years ago. Their family is
together because of him.

that's awesome. they are really lucky. but what if the dog was just barking about something else? they'll never know for sure if the dog actually knew the baby wasnt breathing and that's what caused him to bark. but either way it worked out and they are lucky.
